WHAT BAPTISTS BELIEVE
1. THE SCRIPTURE
A- We believe that the entire Bible, comprised of it’s sixty-six books, was originally written by Holy Men of God, guided and verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit (II Peter 1: 20-21, II Tim 3:14-17, Hebrews 1:1-2) B-and is inerrant, infallible, authoritative, a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction (John 17:17, Psalm 19:7-8, Proverbs 30:5-6, Romans 3:4) C-that it reveals the principles by which God will judge us (Romans 2:12, John 12:47-48) D-therefore is and shall remain forever, the true center of Christian union (Phil 3:16, Matt 5:18, I Peter 1:25, Psalm 119:89) E-and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinion should be tried. (I John 4:1, Isaiah 8:20) F-No other version shall be used except the Authorized King James Version (Rev 22:18-19).
